Hey guys! I love Urban Decay so much and have heard amazing things specifically on how great their eye shadows are. I recently purchased this from...guess where? Nordstrom Rack! I have been so obsessed with how great their deals are on makeup. This palette was only twenty bucks! I saw this and was completely drawn. Instead of your average Naked Palette review, here's a review on one of Urban Decay's older palettes that should still be sold and used today! I think this palette is great for everyone. There are so many great looks you can create with it. So what if this is an older palette? I think it's great and you all can purchase it here.
First of all, I know that for a lot of people, buying prestige or fancy makeup products can cost a lot. Doing a little Nordstrom Rack review here for you all, this store has amazing deals on products that are very expensive at retail. Up to 50% off on everything most of the time. They have many products and a ton of high name designers there too! A lot of the makeup I find is from there and I highly suggest you go check them out (sadly it's only here in America) and get some great deals! Plus, none of the items are bad or "expired" either so you really are getting an extraordinary deal.
So this palette comes in really cool packaging as you can see in the pictures. It kind of looks like a wallet because of the fabric and zipper. Lo and behold, it's not! There's an awesome mirror as well! There are like cool animal designs in it too. This palette is very smokey and a lot of people don't really prefer dark shades but, there are some "not-so-wild" shades in here as well. I am always looking for palettes with a variety of different shades because I am usually drawn to just gold or brown...and that's no fun right?
A bonus about this palette is that it came with a full-size eyeliner! It's so creamy and probably one of the best pencil liners eye have used. It was so creamy that I accidentally broke the tip! What a lot of people don't realize is that you can actually sharpen Urban Decay's pencil liners. Some people think that they can't. I guess it's just because the packaging looks intimidating or something. Also, it does really "glide-on" like the label says. You can really create a dramatic look if you wanted to. This palette also came with a mini travel-size primer potion that I accidentally forgot to show, oops!
Now the only downside I noticed was that some of the shadows came off a bit chalky. I found it better to apply these shadows wet and there was an even better color pay off. My top three shades that I loved on were: Mushroom, Barlust, and Rock star. There are matte and shimmery-metallic shades in this palette and you also have some light neutrals like Kinky and Freestyle (some weird names right?). You also get some awesome colors like the royal blue, plum, and emerald green, which I think compliment a lot of people. Sure this palette has a couple dark shades; it's a really nice variety of colors instead of having like a dark brown and a light brown.
I really enjoy this palette so much. I feel like sometimes it's okay to bring back the old and make it new again. We forget how awesome some products really are so I hope this is a reminder of how great Urban Decay was and is! This palette is great for travelling and anyone looking to spruce up their makeup regimen.
I hope you guys enjoyed this review and will be inspired to switch up your makeup a bit every now and then. What do you think of this palette? Leave comments down below!

Hello lovelies! It is time for one of my favorite new palettes by Lorac. I have been meaning to try out Lorac's shadows and today is the day I share with you all what amazing shadows these are. I found this palette at my Nordstrom Rack but, you can also find it here online as well.
I have been wanting to try Lorac's eye shadows for so long. These shades are prefect for pretty much everyone. They're neutral and it's surprising at how many looks you can actually make with these four shades. Day or night, casual or party. These are honestly the most pigmented and opaque shadows I have used. They are very long wearing as well. My favorite shade is the one in the top right (no name sorry!). I love how it gives your lid a glowy-gold "bohemian" look. It's very flattering and pretty! The lighting was a bit bright when I was taking the swatches picture so the photo doesn't really do the colors justice but, you guys can understand and see what they look like on the skin.
I have been going to this palette every time I do my makeup and I am so amazed at how great Lorac's shadows are. Hopefully I can review more later! For now, leave comments below for what Lorac product I should try next!

Hey guys! So today I wanted to share my top face makeup products that I have been loving so much. I feel like face makeup is very important especially since it's something that you have to put on your face, obviously you want it to be good! So here are my favorite products that range from drugstore to high end. I feel like foundation is so different for everyone and everybody has their own preference. Whether you have oily or dry skin, clear skin or acne prone, and even a different skin tone. Foundation really comes down to what you prefer and what works best for you.
Best Face Primer: Benefit's Porefessional
I absolutely love this face primer. When I first discovered it, I was using the mini travel size and completely fell in love with how smooth it is and how long my foundation and other face makeup lasts. It also smells so good. I had to go out and buy the full size because I was using it every single day. The travel size lasted me a pretty long time and I think it's great for travel as well (obviously Natalie haha). Sometimes when I am not really wanting to wear full coverage foundation, I'll put this on my face underneath a translucent powder.
Best Coverage Foundations: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser & L'oreal True Match
I'm not one of those people that love full coverage foundations but, when I do use very high coverage I love using these two. The Maybelline foundation I found to be the best for dry skin and it is also very good at covering laugh lines and imperfections. There's also sunscreen in it which is also a huge plus! I know that I don't need an age preventing foundation or treatment but, it really does a great job at covering up all your pores and lines.
An oldie but a goodie. L'oreal's True Match has always been a favorite I feel like. To me, this gives a huge amount of coverage. They have like 20 plus shades for everyone so you are guaranteed to find one that matches your skin tone. This one also has SPF which is another great thing I like about it. I love wearing it if I need to really cover up and when I have pretty dry skin. It does appear dewy but, it's very moisturizing and it doesn't leave you looking flaky or cake-y.
Best Tinted Moisturizer: Laura Mercier
I have always been so interested in Laura Mercier's products! I have heard so many great things about her tinted moisturizer and now that I am able to actually try it, I absolutely love it. This has to be my favorite light foundation at the moment. It does give some coverage but, just enough to make you feel covered. It's a bit dewy but, I love the glowy look you get from it!
Best Eyelid Primers: Benefit's Stay Don't Stray & Urban Decay Primer Potion
A long time ago I was on a quest to find an amazing eye shadow primer and I finally found two that I love so much. The one that I use the most is the Stay Don't Stray Primer by Benefit and I love how moisturizing and long wearing it is. No creasing at all! A new favorite that's also a beauty classic is the Urban Decay Primer Potion and I really like it so far. I did find it to crease a bit more than Benefit's. I tend to get really oily eyelids for some reason and these two really help prevent that.
I hope you guys found some help and inspiration on new face makeup. I'm always reading other peoples' blogs to see what the next best foundation is. If there's one I should try next after all of these then please let me know in the comments!
