Hello lovelies! It is time for one of my favorite new palettes by Lorac. I have been meaning to try out Lorac's shadows and today is the day I share with you all what amazing shadows these are. I found this palette at my Nordstrom Rack but, you can also find it here online as well.
I have been wanting to try Lorac's eye shadows for so long. These shades are prefect for pretty much everyone. They're neutral and it's surprising at how many looks you can actually make with these four shades. Day or night, casual or party. These are honestly the most pigmented and opaque shadows I have used. They are very long wearing as well. My favorite shade is the one in the top right (no name sorry!). I love how it gives your lid a glowy-gold "bohemian" look. It's very flattering and pretty! The lighting was a bit bright when I was taking the swatches picture so the photo doesn't really do the colors justice but, you guys can understand and see what they look like on the skin.
I have been going to this palette every time I do my makeup and I am so amazed at how great Lorac's shadows are. Hopefully I can review more later! For now, leave comments below for what Lorac product I should try next!

Hey guys! So today I wanted to share my top face makeup products that I have been loving so much. I feel like face makeup is very important especially since it's something that you have to put on your face, obviously you want it to be good! So here are my favorite products that range from drugstore to high end. I feel like foundation is so different for everyone and everybody has their own preference. Whether you have oily or dry skin, clear skin or acne prone, and even a different skin tone. Foundation really comes down to what you prefer and what works best for you.
Best Face Primer: Benefit's Porefessional
I absolutely love this face primer. When I first discovered it, I was using the mini travel size and completely fell in love with how smooth it is and how long my foundation and other face makeup lasts. It also smells so good. I had to go out and buy the full size because I was using it every single day. The travel size lasted me a pretty long time and I think it's great for travel as well (obviously Natalie haha). Sometimes when I am not really wanting to wear full coverage foundation, I'll put this on my face underneath a translucent powder.
Best Coverage Foundations: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser & L'oreal True Match
I'm not one of those people that love full coverage foundations but, when I do use very high coverage I love using these two. The Maybelline foundation I found to be the best for dry skin and it is also very good at covering laugh lines and imperfections. There's also sunscreen in it which is also a huge plus! I know that I don't need an age preventing foundation or treatment but, it really does a great job at covering up all your pores and lines.
An oldie but a goodie. L'oreal's True Match has always been a favorite I feel like. To me, this gives a huge amount of coverage. They have like 20 plus shades for everyone so you are guaranteed to find one that matches your skin tone. This one also has SPF which is another great thing I like about it. I love wearing it if I need to really cover up and when I have pretty dry skin. It does appear dewy but, it's very moisturizing and it doesn't leave you looking flaky or cake-y.
Best Tinted Moisturizer: Laura Mercier
I have always been so interested in Laura Mercier's products! I have heard so many great things about her tinted moisturizer and now that I am able to actually try it, I absolutely love it. This has to be my favorite light foundation at the moment. It does give some coverage but, just enough to make you feel covered. It's a bit dewy but, I love the glowy look you get from it!
Best Eyelid Primers: Benefit's Stay Don't Stray & Urban Decay Primer Potion
A long time ago I was on a quest to find an amazing eye shadow primer and I finally found two that I love so much. The one that I use the most is the Stay Don't Stray Primer by Benefit and I love how moisturizing and long wearing it is. No creasing at all! A new favorite that's also a beauty classic is the Urban Decay Primer Potion and I really like it so far. I did find it to crease a bit more than Benefit's. I tend to get really oily eyelids for some reason and these two really help prevent that.
I hope you guys found some help and inspiration on new face makeup. I'm always reading other peoples' blogs to see what the next best foundation is. If there's one I should try next after all of these then please let me know in the comments!

Hello my lovelies! I recently did a little shop at my local Nordstrom Rack and was incredibly amazed by the huge selection of prestige beauty products that were there for half the actual retail price! So I picked up this holiday set from 2015 (I mean discounted Smashbox? Who cares if it's from last year haha) and I am so happy with these products. I know these products aren't limited edition anyway so I thought that it would be appropriate to do a little review on them! I bought the set for eight dollars at Nordstrom Rack.
Smashbox is a new discovery of mine. I know it's been around for a long time but, I have never had the courage to try out their products. When I saw this set (they also had some of the eye and lip holiday sets as well), I was very surprised. My friends always ask me like "Hey where's the best place to buy really good makeup?" and I'm like "Nordstrom Rack!". They have the best makeup products their for so little! Brands like Lorac, Stila, Laura Mercier, Nars, The Body Shop, Urban Decay and many others are there as well!
Hey everyone! So last week I was struggling with a very bad cold. Ugh! My nose was stuffed, throat hurt, my lungs were tight, my head pounding all the time, I couldn't focus in school and I barely got any rest. So finally now that's all over and done with for this season, (because I know a ton of people who have gotten sick over the past couple weeks) here are the things I used and some extra necessities you should use when you're a bit under the weather...or a lot.

Only one more day until Valentine's Day! Who else is excited? This is my last Valentine's post and I am excited to share this look and these products with all of you. Valentine's Day is centered with pinks and reds so this look can be manipulated depending on your skin or personal preference.
I just recently purchased this Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and I fell in love at first drop. It's so silky and smooth but, it gives the right amount of coverage that doesn't feel like you've put a huge cake on your face. It's light and I love it! I also just bought the ever-so-popular, Urban Decay Primer Potion. I was so excited to see what all the fuss was about. I tried it under my eye shadow a couple times and wore it during an eight hour school day. Only minimal creasing (because I had gym class and I sweat a lot that day) was seen but, overall it's a really great primer. The Wet'n'Wild eye shadow palettes have also been my faves this year and I have also done a more in-depth review here. They're so creamy and last so long on the lid!
To go over the foundation and all of the face makeup, this NYC mosaic blush powder has been my go-to. It's a very light sort of sheer rose color with hidden gold in it. You literally look like a goddess when you wear it. Who wouldn't want that? Especially on Valentine's Day. It gives the perfect pink glow without being too overpowering on the cheeks.
Using one of my favorite mascaras for this look because on Valentine's Day having the best looking eyes is key. The Rocket by Maybelline has to be my favorite mascara out of all the ones they have in their product line. I found the most volume using this mascara and minimal flakiness. The Smashbox eyeliner is also a new addition to my makeup family and I really like it. It's very smooth and very easy to apply. I will be doing a review on Smashbox very soon!
To top it all off, a nice, subtle pink-nude lipstick (or red if you prefer) to make your Valentine's Day a perfect one. Maybe paint your nails a bright red or pink too?! Whatever you choose, I hope you guys enjoyed this little makeup look/review and find some Valentine's Day inspiration! You can probably wear this look any other day as well.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello my lovelies! While Valentine's Day isn't my number one favorite holiday, I still love getting people gifts! Whether you are getting something for your girl (because I guess guys wouldn't want this stuff) or just a friend or loved one, I have some great gift ideas for you guys.
I always tell myself that even if I am not able to get a gift for someone, buying or making a card is always your best bet no matter what. Letting someone know you care with a card on Valentine's is just as sweet as getting them chocolates, candy, and some pretty flowers...okay maybe not as sweet haha. I got this cute fox and raccoon card at Target in the dollar section and it comes in a pack of eight cards with envelopes. So cute! I can always count on the dollar section at Target to have the best and most inexpensive note cards.
If your loved one is loving all things makeup and beauty (like me) here are some other cute ideas. Maybe stop by your nearest Bath and Body Works and pick up a set of pretty smelling lotions, get a nice bright pink Rimmel lipstick to go with her cute outfit, or maybe even go full out and buy her a nice perfume!
Any girl would love these items. They're all necessities in my opinion! You could even get her a bunch of mini Essie nail polishes. This one is in the shade Forever Yummy and it is so yummy! I have been really loving the look of bright red nails lately. So festive!
Something that could be bit of a stretch this year could be a Fujifilm Instax mini polaroid camera. It is a bit of an expensive gift but, I feel like anyone who loves taking selfies with their "bae" would love to have this camera.
Plus, they come in so many different colors and you can get different film for them! They're so easy to take along or just use at home with friends. I love the vintage look the camera creates.
If you are planning on getting your GF or friend a gift, these are some really great ideas. Remember! It's the thought that counts, not the gift. So maybe just a card this year? Or a simple "Happy Valentine's Day!" would make anyone feel a bit more loved.

The day we celebrate all things love, or in my case, myself! Ha-ha you know because I'm single. For all who are spending Valentine's Day with themselves or their pets, it's not a bad thing! I actually prefer staying in than going out to a movie or something. So a couple days ago I wanted to go pick up some Lush stuff for the upcoming weekend.
Now pampering myself has always been one of my favorite things to do. Either when I am feeling stressed or just need a bit of me-time. I have posted things in the past about finding your inner self by pampering and creating separate routines to do to refresh and revitalize your mind and body. Lush has been my major go-to for this and their products never fail.
So many brushes! Hello everybody and happy February! I hope everyone has been having a great week and I can't wait for the weekend. Just going day by day until Spring break! So today I have a little brush review for y'all and I am so excited to share it with all of you!
So on one of my every-so-often Target excursions, I was just strolling through the makeup aisles and I found this very adorable Sonia Kashuk brush set. It was on clearance for $10! What an amazing deal! Since Sonia Kashuk can be exceptionally pricey, this was an awesome price for these five brushes. Plus, you get a really cute case to go with it!
